I'm not Croatia but being from Veneto (Dolomiti, I'm from Small Dolomiti of Vicenza) we are so close as culture. Basically in Croatia there was a lot of poverty and war so he went a immigrant in Germany (as I understood). Is pretty close to what happened to us during the two wars and after. I feel so much this song. Plus we were unde austro-hungarian too and austrians were horrible. The only difference was being italian we had stop to had those wars, they went through after. Mediterranean slavics were always under civil wars.
